the drathers

It was a late saturday afternoon, when me and my girls were coming home from the grocery store. We decided to drive along the Pecan orchard to see what the trees were looking like this time of year. While driving past the orchard I see a group of people standing on a dirt road between the paved road I am on and the orchard it's self. That group of people sparked my interests...I immediately abort my route towards going home and recalculate my new journey....the journey is set to find out what is happening at the base of the Pecan trees.
I inform the girls of our new adventure and proceed to make our way onto the dirt road back towards the group.
As I start making a right hand turn off the rd...I am following a truck that is going quite fast.
I notice that the truck picks the first spot that it can park in, which is the farthest spot from the group of people a good 400 yds from where he parked. I had a feeling the gentleman was in a bit of a hurry because when he parked he had already opened the door and was half out of the truck. I noticed that the gentleman was Mexican and so my mind started running possibilities real quick... (because we live so close to the border, many people work as labor help here in the orchards)
MY THOUGHTS were:
-could the group of people be employees and their having a little company party?
-could this be part of their harvesting of the pecans traditions?
-could we watch them harvest or collect the nuts?

So, I proceed to watch the man exit his truck, open the back door of the truck, pick up his 3 or 4 yr old son, close the door and then notice me staring at him. I also see that he is walking really fast to join up with this group.
So, I  proceed to drive up to the side of him and his small boy as they walk quickly on the powder dirt road. Once I am side by side with them I roll the window down and say:

ME: "Hey, (with a friendly smile) what is going on down there by the orchard?"
HE: (looking at me strange like) "russing Horse "
ME: Huh?  russing Horse? what's that?
He: (looking at me like I am speaking Russian)
ME: "I don't know what russing Horse  is"
HE: (walking a bit faster and trying to escape my questions)
ME: (driving a big faster to ask more questions)
HE: (feeling trapped by my car next to him and my dumb questions) "You speaka Spanish?"
ME: (wondering if I should say I speak a little...because I wasn't sure what horse was in spanish...so would I know what russing was either?) "NO, not really"
HE: "I no speak English" (and then basically wraps his arms around his son and sprints in front of my car and out of my reach)

At this point...my mind again, started reeling on what this group could be doing:
-could it be some sort of Mexcian horse wrestling deal? Where the riding jumps from the back of the horse to wrestle the other rider? OR they have the horses wrestle?
-could they be selling horses?
-could it be barrel racing?

I started noticing horse trailers in the dirt parking lot and finally came across a cowboy riding his horse towards the group.
I had to do it..
I had to know....
so I stopped and had to ask...
"Hey there", I said to the cowboy atop his saddle "what is going on over there past the orchard?"
He smiles and says "horse racing, they are just about done"

DUH!!! was my only response as I drove away from the orchard and the group of people and the horses. duh!

I had to laugh at myself and the position that I put that poor man and his son, in...with my big SUV cornering him to telling me the secret behind the horse russing that was taking place.

My little Lainie pipes in as we are pulling from the dirt parking lot back on to the paved road...
she asks
HER: "MOM, would you drather watch a american horse race or a mexican horse race?"
ME: "Well you know, it wouldn't matter really. It would look the same and be just the same"
Her: "NO, you wouldn't understand it mom"
ME: "what do you mean, it would be the same type of race. It wouldn't matter"
HER: "yes it would...because you didn't even know what russing horse  was"

That cracked me up!
So now when we don't understand something or didn't quite hear what someone said to us...we just say in a low almost whispery voice
"russing horse ?"

fun on the lemmon

For our last few days of Christmas break we decided to take the kids to Mtn. Lemmon, just 2 hrs up the road. It was so much fun. We got ourselves a hotel, which turned out to be only 45 minutes from our home. IT was nice to drive to the opposite side of town and then jump out to your room...instead of driving for 8 or 9 hours and then finally getting there.
We unpacked the car and then headed up another hr to the top of the mtn. The drive was so beautiful and just so enjoyable to be in the cooler weather with the windows open.

There is this cute little town, at the top, called Summerhaven that we stopped at first. We found this tiny little slope and tried to make sense of the run....waiting in a small line for an even smaller sledding run put us back in the car to find another spot. But it was fun to watch all these people come together and help one another. The run stopped about 15 ft from the main rd...so there was this guy that would stand there and catch all the people from sliding right into on coming traffic. It was hiliarious.

Before He threw the snow ball at his mother

After He threw the snow ball at his mom and his mom pushed him into the snow.

We drove for another 10 minutes to find a perfect spot...a little packed with people...but so much fun.

Find the Waldo family.
The girls kept asking why nobody was speaking english. It took us back to living in Mexico. good times

the next few pictures of Luke sledding... just crack me up

having fun

The few big bumps were back killers

Walk it off

This was such a great day of just being with the family. We ended the day by getting take out and going back to the hotel. Later that evening...I took the oldest 4 to the pool and jacuzzi, while little guy slept in the room with big daddy boy!
One last note....the weather was PERFECT.
We had
snow,
cold noses,
jackets,
 no glove,
the sun was out
&
most importantly a BLAST!

Mad Scientist in the House

Just the other day, while nursing the babe, Cartie runs into the bdrm and says in the most urgent voice....
HIM: "Mom, Creams is making a drink that is exploding"
ME: "Say What?"
HIM: "Creams drink is exploding"
ME: " Come again?"

I decided I had better jump up and check out what this "exploding drink" might mean. I can't even imagine what he really means or what I might find. Knowing my little Creamers...it could be something quite interesting. When I walk into the kitchen I came across the Scientist standing on a chair in front of his experiment. This is what I found.....

It all smelled rather nice...except for the Basil LEaves.
The think white layer on the bottom is baking soda...when I walked in the room there were big bubbles over the rim of the glass.
Maybe he will be a world renowned scientist
or maybe just a food tester!

thankfulness

My oh my...where did the time go?
I think we went straight from Summer to the New Year. Here it is Jan 2010 and I am trying to savor the memories from our wonderful Thanksgiving in Utah. I have to give a quick rundown of the most wonderful time of the year....THanksgiving.

You know what is so wonnderful about Thanksgiving in UTah?
1. The anticipation while driving the 9 hours to my parents home. Luke and I feel like little children on Christmas morning...when we get to go to utah. There is electricity in the car when we drive there.
2. Walking in the home in the middle of the night and smelling it, seeing it and feeling the powerful spirit in their home.
3. Laying down in their most comfy bed that is in the best bedroom in the world. We call it the cave, because it's in the basement and it's pitch black and cold. My mom has 3 or 4 heavy blankets on the bed, but your nose gets chill. I could sleep for days in that room...basically hybernation is possible there. OH...if only!
4. Waking up to the smell of my dad's amazing breakfast. There aren't words to discribe it.

The past few years I have done a "I am Thankful for"...12 day countdown to Thanksgiving and this year I failed at it horribly so here is my 2009 rendition.

I am ThANKful for...
12- for a place to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Thanks mom & dad
11- for the most perfect weather on Thanksgiving day to eat inside or out. Therefore I had to cut the grass to set the tables up...it had to be presentable for my mom.
10- for the most beautiful pies, especially the chocolate/coconut pie my dad made
9- for the food that we ate, especially the cranberries my mom made....delicious
8- for the "sitting around the front room" time where we just do nothing but chat with family and move chairs once in a while only to regroup and talk so more.
7- for the football game on Thanksgiving morn, so my lover's dreams were fulfilled.
6- for the chance to run into the st. George Hallows. It's always so much fun to see family!
5- for the FIVE beautiful, amazing, healthy, funny, caring human beings that Heavenly Father borrowed me and LUke for this life....I have some cool kids.
4- for the chance to do Black Friday and b-fast with my sisters again. I loved being with them! I can't get enough of my sister!
3- for the company that we were able to sit with at our table.
My Aunt Joyce and her daughter Teri, her husband DAve and their 2 children
My Grandmother & her husband
My Uncle Wayne
My Mommy and Daddy
And every one of my siblings and their entire family...(minus one neice that is away to college).
2- for the invaluable time my children have with their aunts and cousins...that means a lot to me. I remember thanksgivings when I was young and I loved being in the same room with my aunts!
1- for the Warm Spirit that was with all of us for the entire Thanksgiving Holiday.
There is just something extra Special about Thanksgiving. I assume everyone feels the same way I do...it's about FAmily.
I feel so intune with my family.
It's like your insides are open up and warm and everyone else is on the same page as you.
It's like you look at your family differently on that day, you always love one another...but the world shrinks and it's all about those that are in front of you.
It's like the world is breathing carefully and peacefully on that one day.

911, What's your emergency?

"911, what's your emergency" is one of the longest sentences known to mankind, or a mother that is calling to report that her son is lost.
"My son, my 3 year old son is lost, I cant' find him, it's dark out here and I don't know where he is" is one of the hardest sentences known to a parent.

Luke and I stood in the middle of the dark road at the festival of light in the middle of Tucson looking at each other for answers.
I thought Creed was in the stroller with him and he thought I had him with me as we walked nearly 10 feet apart zig zagging back and forth, down the past 3 blocks of lite up houses. When neither one of us had an answer for the other, we stopped in our tracks. With no words spoken the answers and possiblities that we feared were running through our heads in a flash.
We both, at the same instant, knew the last time we had saw him and it was a terrifying thought.

We realized that when we had stopped at the last "big" display he was with us.
We realized that that last "big" display was roughly 2 blocks back.
We realized that 2 blocks back was about 15 minutes ago...because of our pace.
We realized that the roadways were very dark and in between intersections there were only christmas lights, no street lights.
We realized that he was 3 and could very well be running the wrong way looking for us.
We realized that this was not a normal neighborhood where the roads were straight, but it was like maze. especially at night.
We realized he was alone.
We realized that we were very scared and needed to find him NOW.

The roads are very dark in tuscon because of the Observatory that is nearby...so they rarely have street lights and the ones that they have are the dark yellow lights. To see a persons face, 20 ft in front of you is not gonna happen..you could see their outline, but no faces!
We both ran to the  Y intersection that was 15 feet away and stopped trying to remember what road we came up.
1st...the darkness made it difficult to tell the differences between the roads
2ndly...I was in a bit of a panic, so looking down these dark long roads knowing my boy was somewhere by himself...I could hardly remember what road it was.

Finally, I remember this house with a big sign in front of it that read "casa de los Ninos" and then I knew. As I watched LUke walk off into the dark...my mind started playing games and every thought that could cross it...DID.
I gathered my other 4 kids around me told them the situations and that we needed to stay close. My neighbor, who we were with, came up and I informed her with a panic in my voice.
Then I got a call from Luke...

ME..."you got him?"
LUKE..."no, honey I dont!"
ME..."we got to find him? Should I call 911?"
LUKE..."yes" in the most calm/nervous voice I had heard
When I heard Luke say we need to call 911, I had the most sickening feeling come over me.
At once I called 911 and reported my little 3 year old boy, LOST! What a gut wrentching feeling. I have NEVER in my life ever felt so dark, so lonely, so confused, so cluttered, so sick, so weak, so hopeless, so stupid.
HOW could I do this? How could I leave my child somewhere by himself. How could I be so dumb?

As I talked to the dispatch me and the kids were yelling "CREED" up and down the road. I yelled at people that were passing "HELP me, I have lost my son. Has anyone seen a little boy by himself? Please can someone help me find my little boy?" People passed me like I was some sort of Zoo animal....finally a couple stopped and asked me a few questions that might help them know him better. Everyone else just passed me by.
Me and the girls did see a boy standing 50 yards away looking at some light all by himself so I sent Lainie and Shelby to see if that was him. They were scared to leave my side, incase I were to leave them. I reassured them that I would stand right there and not move...so off they ran to verify if that was their brother. IT wasn't!
By now, 5 minutes, which seems like an eternity has passed. Me still on the phone with the dispatch and the dispatch talking to the police that were in the area on bikes.
Two minutes more pass and I can do nothing by stand there in one spot, just in case he is really on the other side of where we really think he is.

Finally I get a text on my phone from luke
"GOT HIM"was all I needed to read.

I informed the operator but asked that she didn't hang up till I knew for sure. She said that she was on the line with some officers that confirmed a lost boy had found his father.
I grabbed the kids and started running towards where I saw Luke walk off 10 minutes before. Half way down the rd i see luke with little Creed on his shoulders.
Luke told me that Creed was going the opposite way than us and he was across the street about 80 feet from where we last saw him. He had sat down and told Luke "I sat down and was waiting for you to find me". Luckily a nice couple had stopped and asked if he was lost, reassured them that they would find his parents and didn't leave him until Luke got there. I can't express my gratitude to the couple I don't know for being so kind and not being in such a hurry to stay with my little boy.

Later I asked him if someone told him to sit down and not move. He said "NO, I just sat down and was waiting for you".
I asked him if the people with the dog said that he was going the  wrong way? He said "dogs don't talk".

-I can't even think about the what if's
-I can't even think about how that night could of gone a whole different way in a matter of a second...because of the darkness, the houses, the people, the confusion.
-I can't even fathom the thoughts and emotions that parents go through that go home empty handed without their child because of a kidnapping or lost child situation.
-I can't even thank my Heavenly Father enough for the guidance he gave Luke and Creed to find eachother.
-I am so Grateful for the early Christmas Miracle that we experienced.

if you want to know where he was and where I was go here

I was on Bentley & Kleindale
He was on Fox & Kleindale

-don't forget to say your prayers for those that are lost!

Hey kid...no look'n at the peaches

I am ticked at old people lately.

I think that Lloyd Christmas was full of crap when he said something like
"old people are good for something."

Since moving down here to the retire capital of the world...next to Palm Springs...I have learned a few things in my day.

1. Never ever shop at the local Grocery store on Tuesdays. It's some Senior Citizen discount day and the place is nuts. The parking lot is full of all sorts of Crown Victorias and Sweet looking cadillacs and a bunch of onery old people that have no patience for anyone but themselves. They wheel around their grocery carts full of their frozen dinners, fibermeal, denture creams and booze. Their are cart jam-ups at every corner and if you think that they are going to beep beep back-up so you can move by...you better think again. You are in their store and shopping on their day and so.....they rule the roost.

2. Always watch for slow moving golf carts on all road ways. I don't know of anywhere else that I have lived that it's totally legal to drive 2 and 4 and 6 seated golf carts down the roads. With their little flags fluttering in the breeze that  represent their summer home state. I have to say though...it's a pretty cute picture seeing these old men with their golf caps and their golf clubs wheeling down the road in this miniture car. We always honk and wave to see what kind of response we will get back...they usually give us a friendly wave.

3. Always be prepared with a smart comeback when going anywhere in town with 5 kids in tow. I know that 7 out of 10 times I walk into a buisness with my 4 kids around my feet and little jr. strapped to me in his sling I get
"wow, you have your hands full" or
"gee, what do you do in  your spare time?" or
"are they all yours?" or
a sneer or glare or even the crusty grunt.

I once had a pleasant experience with a couple, just the other day, while in Target. I had all 5 kids with me, while Luke was running a head in the store to get what we needed extra fast. While walking past this OLD couple,(I write with a sneer) the gentleman's eyes fixed on us and then I saw something click in his head by the look on his face. He just couldn't wrap his head around this group of migets coming towards him....and this strange looking tall person that was with them. This man stopped dead in his tracks and started counting us......
I kept walking and then decided to stop. I stopped and turned while giving an overly dramatized point toward my bosom (little baby was in a sling on the front of me) and say out loud and nasty like "don't forget this one, there are 5!"
When he realized that I had caught him in the act he kind of jumped and turned around. His wife just giggled at him being seen and then they kept walking.
My little girls, especially my oldest, understands what is happening when people say things and point or stare. I have to remind her that it's a fabulous thing to be a part of...a BIG FAiMILY! And to never be embarrassed by it. I tell her that it is a rarity and a wonderful experience that most people will never be a part of now a days!

So I have prepared some cute comments...and they are as follows...
-Wow, you have your hands full....
 (response)....yes, isn't it great.
-Gee, are they all your kids?.....
(response) yep...all 5 of them that you see here.  I left the other 6 in the car, they are the ugly ones that we don't take out in public.
-Wow, what do you do in your spare time?....
(response) well, isn't it obvious, duh! You should see my husband, he is a real hunk of a man......my goodness..hubba hubba!

4. While driving here in this area, be extra prepared for gliders. The people here, thee old people here drive cars that are way too big for them. They can't see over the dash or out the window to see who is next to them...so they end of gliding from one lane to another...in hopes that they don't just ram into you. There are no blinkers used and I don't even think they can turn their heads because they are so stiff....they just glide.

5. Salad bars are only for adults!! I had to learn this the hard way and actually this lesson I learned was what brought me to my disgusted conclusion of these here old people. This just happened to me and my family, only 2 nights ago. While out eating at the local Pizza Hut...I ordered the salad bar. I know my children well, I ordered the all you can eat...knowing that my babes would eat off my plate and I could go back for more. I took my little guy, Creed, up to the salad bar with me. Purely for distraction sake and getting him away from the salt and pepper shakers on the table. While at the salad bar, we found peaches...which he loves. I told him to put a few on a plate and he could eat them at the table. So, while I got a salad for myself, He was loading up on the peaches. We took our plates back and chomped it up. Just as I suspected...my cucumbers, tomatoes and cottage cheese became a community possession and, well I shared happily
BECAUSE, I could get more!  So, I do...and so does Creed.
While sitting and eating our salad and peaches the waitress, not our waitress, but "a" waitress comes to me and says "yum.... (in a hesitant mouse like voice) we have customers complaining that children are playing in the salad bar." My response was "no, not playing.. we got some food off the salad bar, because we paid for it and we are eating it". Her response.... "okay, because these old people won't go to the salad bar if they see any kids around it". My reponse "yes, I know...but we were getting food off of it and eating it...we weren't playing in it" with a very sarcastic smile.
NOT impressed. I was so put out to think that because my kids were kids they couldn't get food off the salad bar without getting some crappy comment from some old, crusty, pizza lovin person.

To be fair....they are in really good shape from playing hours and hours of golf.
AND, if I must say...I have had some wonderful conversations with so many elderly people that love my children and love watching them play with one another. I have also come across some that want to buy them stuffed animals or give them a dollar or just look at their beautiful faces. I have met so many neat elderlies that have taught me a great deal about life...I can't overlook THEM just because the onery elderlies are louder!

Band Geek, yup that's me!

I was blessed in the 6th Grade to have been forced into Band. Mr Poulsen, bless his heart and his mind and his patience with all of us and our noisy instruments. I loved that guy....maybe not at that time in my life, but I can now say he was a man that taught me a great deal.
He taught me to love music, to listen, to play better and to open my mind and heart a little more. I remember the first time he taught us to quiet down and listen to the note. To see if we could tell if we were in tune by simply listening for the waves that were there. If we were not in tune we could hear waves or bumps underneath the actually note that was being played. When we were in tune...it was smooth and beautiful. He taught me that music can be fun.

I was blessed by my parents to have been forced to take band on my class schedule. At the time, I have to admit, it wasn't a class that I liked being seen walking into. I use to wait till the hallway was clear of anyone and then run inside hoping nobody from the outside saw me. Once I got inside the room, we were all the same and it was okay and safe to be there. I know now that nobody really cared if I was in the band, but in my mind it wasn't the "cool" place to be. The place to be in my mind was home economics, or art, or choir but NOT band! But for some reason every year and every quarter I found myself back in that darn classroom taking that same noisy class with the same people. I eventually found that my parents didn't have to force me anymore....I loved it. However, I still didn't want people to see me in there, but I secretly loved it! I remember trying to hide behind the music stand when a certain person would walk in. Why? I really can't say....but I did! All through Middle school I took that darn BAND class and loved it and loved Mr. Poulsen and what he did to put music in my heart. I started listening to music differently. Started listening for parts and listening for instruments and listening for the different beat. I started listening to how different beats made me feel inside and how rythms could move me. I want to add that I wasn't very good at my instruments and could hardly read music....but I felt it and realized that I could play it after I had heard it a few times. I wasn't blessed with the best talent, but I was blessed with a talent to love music.

I was blessed by my parents to have been forced to play what some like to call the licorice stick, or the clarinet. I think the reason for this selection was because my older sister played it a few times in the class and gave up on it...so like everything else in our lives...I got the left overs. You know, in middle school, it wasn't the instrument of choice for me...I wanted to play something like the drums or maybe the french horn or possibly even the trumpet. But girls never played the trumpet....in my mind! I knew that I never wanted to play the flute or tuba that was for sure. But eventually I learned to love the clarinet. I love the deep woodsy sound that it could bring out and then there was this high pitch squeak that it could pull out as well. The range and sound on a clarinet is beautiful and quite honestly amazing. I loved loved LOVED all the girls that sat next to me playing the same instrument all through middle school, high school and then most of us went on to play together in college for a few years.

Back to present day.....
While checking my girls out of school the other day I couldn't help but reminisce about my days as a band geek. There was this light blue poster plastered to the doors of the school. I have no idea how or why it caught my attention, especially when I am always in such a hurry. But for some reason this poster caught my eye and it took me back. The poster was announcing a concert that was being performed by the Air Force concert Band. I was taken back to when we were in HS and we were able to play with the band for a number or two. It took me back to my high school band career and some of the many different experiences that I had while participating in this class.
So, being the Band geek that I am...I had to go, I had to get tickets and take anyone in my family that would accompany me to this performance. I got the maximum amount of FREE tickets that I could and marked it on my calendar for the event of the night.

The day had finally arrived
and so did soccer practice for the girls
and so did no dinner for the family
and so did Luke rushing home after work to pick up half the kids
and so did me nursing the baby in the parking lot at soccer practice to hand him off to my lover....
so that I might have my hour of sweet MUSIC.

I talked the 2 girls into coming with my by really talking it up. You know with things like "oh, I can't wait to show you the big huge drums that they beat on" or "I can't wait till we hear the chimes or hear the loud trumpets play" or "I can't wait to see the men and women perform in their military uniforms". I did my darnest to make my girls excited to go and it worked! The girls changed from soccer clothes to normal clothes in the car on our way there. We ran to the door with only 10 minutes to spare before the performance started. While running to the door we noticed 20+ people leaving the theatre. In passing they mentioned that their were no more seats in the inn and they were turning people away. I told the girls that we just had to give it a try. When we approached the doors again more people leaving due to no seats available. I told my girls that we would stand in the back if we had to...for at least 2 or 3 numbers.
Once we got in, I spotted them....3 seats, count them 1,2,3 seats all together but not in the same row...one in front of the other and then one more in front of that. We could sit together, but just looking at the back of each others heads.
We held hands for a moment and then it started....

It started with the flag being presented and the National Anthem being played.
It started with the entire audience standing up and then placing their hands on the hearts and singing a song of bravery and hope.
It started with me noticing that 90% of the men around me were elderly men and most of them slowing raising their hand to their foreheads as to salute the flag that they fought for in some long ago war.
It started with me of course with tears in my eyes and just the pure enjoyment of being in a room of people that loved music and all that comes with it as much as I.

Oh...how I love what music does to me. I Love the way it makes me feel, move, remember, relax, get energized, love, cry, smile, ponder and listen.

I was blessed to of been force into this passion that I now have.

p.s. my girls loved the concert! If they come to your town, get a ticket!

a new 5 year old!

My big boy turns 5 and it's crazy.
I love that he is growing up and coming so BIG...but it's sad to see time fly and I can do nothing to stop it! I know that it's important for the little ones to grow into their own, but it breaks my heart to think that before I know it....life will of passed me by. I just hope that I can savour the moments that are the most important....like the following moment.

8:30pm....sitting on the floor opening a box of cards.
MOm: "Cartie, did you have a good birthday?"
Carter: "It's the best birthday ever"
Mom: "Why?"
Carter: "Because we are playing UNO on the floor in the middle of the night"

The simple things that made this boy happy. Let me write a bit about how grateful this boy is. It's very normal for this boy to be the 1st and sometimes only person in the family to thank me for just about everything.
He is the 1st to hug me and the 1st to tell me he loves me.
He is the 1st to kiss my face, even though in his interview he tells me he dislikes hugs and kisses.

she's gonna blow

Oh yeah...

P.s....don't put cooked rice in your garbage disposal, while your husband is out of town.

Unless, of course, you want to witness a geyser explode underneath the sink and run straight for the dishwasher, fridge, rugs, pantry and smell real nice like.

Pea traps are not for the weak!

smell my feet!

Halloween is always a good time. This year we made our way back to Arivaca for the town's festivities and their annual hayride that the Boys Ranch participates in.

Here are a few photos from the night...don't get scared!

And then there was this guy.
He was so funny.
He grabbed a hold of the trailer as we were driving down the road
because his battery powered scooter was just about out of juice.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!

hello? Hello? anyone there?

Phone conversation with my little sis.
Me..."dang, my phone is beeping at me telling me that it's gonna die"

Bug..."that's funny, I was talking to someone just the other day and the person on the other end of the phone was asking me some halloween questions and I was totally giving her a ton of ideas for her party. You should do this and that. I got into this really good conversation and then asked...hey you there? I was totally talking to myself for like 10 minutes".

Me..."that's hiliarious, was she having a party or something"

Bug..."yeah, I was telling her this great idea and I was right to the part when you are just talking and nobody else has the floor except the speaker and then her......

Me....beep......(dead phone)

Me...laughing my head off!

sorry buggy! I really didn't do that on purpose, but wasn't that funny?
