Why are trains so cool?

We live close to the tracks that run towards the mines by our house. We have to cross tracks 3 times in order to get to the church. We go to the church on sunday, monday, wednesday & friday morning, so it's very often that we come across this!

I make sure to stop next to the track and let the boys get an up close and personal view of the passing train. Once we were driving along the tracks, maybe 20 ft away, and the conductor stopped the train right next to our vehicle and lay on the horn for the boys. We all loved it except Memphi....he was so not impressed!
I feel like a little kid when the train goes by....It's such a cool means of transportation!
